Paris – 2011
Design – planning – modell making
The project was to set up a music festival Trip-Hop for young music fans. It took place at the Molitor swimming pool in the 16th arrondissement, Paris. Although several smaller music halls offered this music, we wanted to join them together. Molitor prides with both a summer and a winter pool. We decided to keep track of the pool and therefore created two wave-shaped podiums in both pools. The wave-shaped podium in the winter pool offered seating accommodation and served as a stage for the musicians. The whole area was immersed in darkness and was used for the projection of images and light installations. The visitor was overwhelmed by the electric atmosphere. The aim was to make everyone experience the style of “trip hop music“ with all their senses.
